Chico always treated me with courtesy and respect when we were stationed at the Marine Barracks in Rota, Spain. I shall always remember him for being one squared-way Marine and a very good person. I regret not being able to see him at our Rota Marines reunions these past two years. Rest in peace, Marine. You shall be missed. Angel Moreno. devildog4ever@yahoo.com.

Chico was my closest friend in the Marine Corps. I was always in contact with him throughout the years. Semper Fi. Tom Scanlon. tjscanlon222@hotmail.com

What a good friend and Marine. He was a gentle soul. The world is a lesser place with his passing. Semper Fidelis, my old friend. Top Davis. halusmcret@charter.net

It is a sad day. Chico was a great person and will be missed by all. John and Joanne Church. jchurch47@yahoo.com

Just learned of Chico's untimely death. Please keep me informed of what is going on. Larry and Ernie, I think you all have my address. Chico was always cool and calm. I do not ever remember him being upset about anything. Not even when the three women went to see Kennedy's grave at Arlington. He stayed with us until they showed up and got on the bus. He was going to give them "what-for," but he did not. Nice fellow. He will be missed at the next reunion. Take care everyone. Bill Rieger. rieger66@comcast.net

Angel. Thank you very much for making such a great page for my friend Chico. I appreciate it very much as well as the Rivera Family. While I was there they had received several cards for Grace and his sons (Jose) and (Hector). Thanks Again for all your effort for Chico. Tom Scanlon. tjscanlon222@hotmail.com

I did not know Mr. Rivera until he came to see my dad before he passed. For that I am grateful to him, Bob Seldomridge, Louie Onofrio and Peter Alvarez for taking the time to come see him. May peace be with Mr. Rivera's family and friends. Just so everyone knows he and my dad are having a beer and looking down on us laughing because they are going back to ROTA without us. Take care and Semper Fi. Margaret Mary Hinkle, 1426 First Ave., York, PA. 17403. Phone:267 664 8674. Email: mmh9197@aol.com
